NGP-Waiver to Apply – Spring 2024 Round 5
If you have an open/active grant with INRC through the Neighborhood Grant program, you can now apply for a waiver, which will allow you to apply for additional NGP funds. This waiver is to determine if your current project is on track to finish on time and is currently in good standing with any required documentation. The waiver is due with application, April 15 at 5pm. If you want to know your waiver approval before developing an application, it should be submitted ASAP. Waivers will be reviewed and replied to as received.
You must complete this waiver application in one sitting; there is NOT an option to save your work.
Information necessary to complete the waiver:
1.Project address
2. Qualified Census Tract (QCT) find this at www.huduser.gov/portal/sadda/sadda_qct.html . At this website enter the project address in the search bar located in the top left corner of the map (this is designated with a magnifying glass.) After the address is located go to the left side bar and click “Color QCT Qualified Tracts (Zoom 7+.)” If your address qualifies the area will be colored purple, this may take a few seconds to appear. You may check both the years 2023 and 2024, but the address only needs to qualify in one of the selected years.

4. What Round Were you awarded (Round 1, 2, 3, or 4)
5. Estimate the percentage of your current project that is complete.
6. Have you obtained all the required permits and approvals needed to complete your current active NGP project?
7. Will your proposed project require new permits? (Due to the time-sensitive nature of this final round applicants must show proof that sign permits and necessary approvals have been approved when the Round 5 application is submitted. Only flora, fauna and special event permits may be obtained after a new award.)
8. Give succinct information on what is done, what is yet to be completed, and a dated timeline for the current project’s completion.
