Public Allies Indianapolis offers the nationally-recognized Public Allies AmeriCorps Apprenticeship program. This 10-month apprenticeship program combines full or part time AmeriCorps service at a local nonprofit organization with intensive personal and professional development.

Do you have a passion to make a difference and the desire to lead? Public Allies is an AmeriCorps program that believes everyone has leadership potential and assets to contribute towards making a difference. We engage young leaders, helping them turn their passions and experiences into a viable career path through our 10-month (September-June) apprenticeship program.
The 10-month program includes:
Full-time/part-time options
- A stipend of $26,000 for a full-time position and a stipend of over $10,000 for a part-time position
- Full-time and part-time AmeriCorps apprenticeships in local nonprofits or government agencies where apprentices create, improve, and expand services such as youth development, education, public health, and economic development.
- A rigorous leadership development curriculum delivered by community leaders, practitioners, and educators.
